Warranty, Returns & Refunds
Every printer carries the manufacturer's official warranty, serviced inside Pakistan. Here is exactly what that covers and how a claim works.
What the warranty covers
Every 3D printer sold by PakTechImports carries the manufacturer's official warranty. That covers manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use — a mainboard that fails, a screen that develops dead pixels, a motor or hotend that stops working through no fault of yours.
The part that matters is where the claim is handled. Because stock is imported directly and held in Pakistan, a claim is processed domestically. You do not ship a machine overseas at your own cost and wait months, which is what happens to buyers who imported a printer themselves.
How to make a claim
- Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact form with your order details and a description of the fault.
- Send photographs or a short video of the problem where possible — this usually removes an entire round of back-and-forth with the manufacturer.
- We submit the claim and handle all communication with the manufacturer on your behalf, at no additional charge.
- Typical resolution is 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the manufacturer and which part is involved.
What is not covered
Being straightforward about this is more useful than a long list of assurances:
- Misuse or accidental damage — drops, liquid ingress, incorrect voltage.
- Unauthorised modifications — replacing firmware or components with parts not approved by the manufacturer.
- Normal wear and tear on parts designed to be replaced.
Consumables are not warranty items. Nozzles, build plate surfaces, FEP release film, belts and PTFE tubing all wear out through use — that is expected, not a fault. These are stocked as spare parts so a worn nozzle does not mean a machine sitting idle.
Returns
You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if it arrives damaged, defective, dead on arrival, or is the wrong item. Return shipping in these cases is at our cost.
Returns are not accepted for change of mind. We would rather say that plainly than imply a broader right and disappoint you later. If you are unsure which machine suits your work, ask before ordering — we will tell you when a cheaper printer is the better fit.
Inspect your package on arrival. Visible transit damage should be reported immediately rather than after unpacking days later, because once goods are handed to the courier the risk of loss passes to the buyer under our terms.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days to your original payment method — bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash. We confirm the details with you before processing. Full terms are on the refund policy page.
Why a cheaper printer often costs more
Most manufacturers will not honour a claim from a buyer outside the country of sale. A machine imported personally, or bought from an overseas marketplace listing, usually has no valid claim route at all — so a failed screen or mainboard becomes a full-price replacement rather than a warranty repair. When comparing two prices, the question worth asking is not which is lower but where would a claim actually be handled.

Message us with your order details and a photo or video of the fault. We will take it from there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are 3D printers from PakTechImports covered by warranty?
Yes. Every 3D printer is supplied with the manufacturer's official warranty, and claims are handled inside Pakistan rather than requiring you to ship a machine overseas. Stock is imported directly and held locally, which is what makes domestic warranty service possible.
How do I make a warranty claim on a 3D printer?
Contact PakTechImports with your order details and a description of the fault, ideally with photographs or a short video. We submit the claim and handle all communication with the manufacturer on your behalf at no additional charge. Typical resolution takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the manufacturer and which part is involved.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, and normal wear and tear are not covered. Consumable items wear out through use and are not warranty items: nozzles, build plate surfaces, FEP release film, belts and PTFE tubing. These are stocked as spare parts instead.
Can I return a 3D printer after delivery?
You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if it arrives damaged, defective, dead on arrival, or is the wrong item. Returns are not accepted for change of mind. After the 7-day window the manufacturer warranty applies instead, which covers faults rather than returns.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days to your original payment method, whether bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash. We confirm the details with you before processing.
Why do imported 3D printers often have no warranty in Pakistan?
Most manufacturers will not honour a warranty claim from a buyer outside the country of sale. A machine brought in personally or bought through a marketplace listing from abroad therefore usually has no valid claim route, which turns a failed screen, hotend or mainboard into a full-price replacement paid by the owner. This is the main hidden cost of a cheaper grey-market price.
